The Muno family is still bathing in the memories of the Salt Lake City Thayer Reunion and annual TFA meeting. We wish to thank everyone who made it such a success with your presence. We had so much fun doing this and the rewards were the wonderful friendships that were built during the four days we had together.
We wish to thank all of those who sent their donations for the Thayer DVD and photo CD which covered Don's production costs. Work continues on Volume V of A Comprehensive Genealogy of the Thayer Family of America, although it has been slowed due to familial needs. Our son-in-law is away fighting in Afghanistan and our children's needs for extra help from Grandpa and Grandma Muno at home have got to come first. We are blessed to be near all four of our children and their families here in Utah. If you did not get the chance to attend the 2006 reunion, I think anyone would still love to come out and see some of what this wonderful state has to offer.
I thought this Historian's Report might make a good time to review for our readers, and for our newcomers, of the published and planned volumes of the "Comprehensive" series. Although each volume can stand on its own, together they chronicle Thayer expansion and the contributions to the growth of America. With the addition of each volume, new insight and unique information can be found both in the body of the work and in each volume's added appendixes. Once the Comprehensive is completed, our plan is to offer sets to libraries throughout the US.
