PERLEY THAYER (07 Oct 1768-22 Jun 1850) & wife Hannah LISCOMB (1767-06 May 1846). Born in Woodstock, Conn. to Mephibosheth & Lydia (Chamberlain) Thayer, the family moved to Stanstead, Quebec in 1816. Half the family went back to VT and NH and the other half stayed in Canada to this day.

RALPH MELBOURNE THAYER(1875-1953) & wife Florence Hart WILSON. The family resided early on in Cuyahoga County, OH and Milwaukee county, WI. Later descendants resided in California. Ralph was the enterprising man who had a restaurant in the 1933 Chicago World's Fair aptly called 'Thornbury Hall'.
