TFA Reunion Schedule:
Thursday, June 19th
Arrival and check into hotel. If you brought anything to donate to the goodie bag please connect with Tammy Thayer in the hotel at this time.
7:00 p.m. Informal gathering in the hotel lobby. We will have a TFA registration table in the lobby where you will check in and get your T-shirt, goodie bag, and the reunion schedule details. Light refreshments will be served while we meet our Thayer cousins. As an icebreaker we would like each family to introduce themselves, and explain how they have creatively preserved their family heritage history for the next generation. For example, if you have made any Thayer family history DVD, scrapbook, display, or have a clever way to organize all those endless files of genealogy research now is the time to share your ideas.

Following lunch at the Thayer Academy you will have a chance to review a vendor area with an interesting variety of Thayer related display tables. If you would like to have a table at this event please email Tammy at email@example.com. A sneak preview of some of the vendors are:

Early breakfast at the hotel on your own.
8:00 AM transportation leaves from parking lot of hotel to Plimouth Plantation, in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Although the Thayer surname did not come over on the Mayflower, many of us are descendants of the Mayflower through another ancestor who married into our direct line. After all, Plymouth and Braintree are so close it is hard to imagine we are not all now descendants of one of the pilgrims. Check out their website http://www.plimoth.org to see their day’s schedule of fun events for the whole family. Other attractions in the area of Plymouth rock, the Mayflower II, the national Monument to the forefathers, a walk along the beach, as well as excellent charter boats for deep-sea fishing or whale watching.
